What is the Health Score?
The Health Score (0–100) reflects how well a product aligns with your health goals and dietary preferences. It considers ingredient quality, sugar content, salt, saturated fat, and processing level. It is educational guidance only — not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
A product I scanned isn't in the database. What should I do?
If a barcode isn't found in OpenFoodFacts, Arovya will offer to scan the product label using AI. Tap "Scan Label" and photograph the ingredients and nutrition panel. Our AI will extract the information and generate a full report. This uses one of your monthly AI scans (free tier: 1 per month, Pro: unlimited).
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel, go to iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Arovya → Cancel Subscription. You'll retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period. You can also manage subscriptions directly within Arovya via the Go Pro screen → Manage Subscription.
How do I restore my Pro purchase on a new device?
Open Arovya → tap the PRO tab → tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used to originally purchase Pro. Your subscription will be restored automatically.
Is my health data shared with anyone?
No. Your health profile, supplement logs, and scan history are stored only on your device and never transmitted to our servers. Only anonymised, non-personal analytics events are collected. See our

How do I delete all my data?
In the app, go to Profile (avatar icon top-right on Home screen) → Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete My Data. This permanently removes all your health profile, supplement logs, and scan history from your device.
The scan score seems too high or too low for a product. Why?
Scores are personalised to your health profile — goals, dietary preferences, and age range. A product that scores well for one person may score differently for another. If your profile is incomplete, go to Profile → Complete Your Profile to improve score accuracy. Remember: scores are educational guidance, not medical advice.
Why does the Insight Depth show less than 100%?
Insight Depth builds from two sources: completing your health profile (via the context questions) and logging supplements consistently over time. Full depth is reached after 14+ days of consistent logging. Keep logging daily and your insights will improve automatically.
