These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Arovya iOS application ("the app", "Arovya"). By using Arovya, you agree to these Terms.
Arovya is developed and operated by Anand Basavaraj Muddi, an indie developer based in the United Kingdom.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Arovya. If you are under the age of majority in your country of residence, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the app and to agree to these Terms.
If you are using Arovya on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Arovya helps you understand food products and supplements you scan, view, or track in the app by:
Arovya is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All information shown is for general educational and informational purposes only.
Health scores, ingredient assessments, and supplement-related insights are generated by automated rules based on publicly available nutritional and dietary guidance, together with the information you enter into the app. They are not medical recommendations and should not be used as a substitute for professional advice.

We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information sourced from Open Food Facts, AI label scanning, or other third-party data sources. Always verify important information directly from the product packaging and from qualified professionals where appropriate.
Pricing may vary by region based on App Store pricing tiers. Prices shown in the app at the point of purchase are authoritative.
To prevent abuse and keep the service running for everyone, AI label scans are subject to reasonable rate limits — both for free and Pro users. These limits are generous and shouldn't affect normal use. If you hit a limit, you'll see a clear message explaining when you can scan again.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price of the selected plan.
You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID subscription settings:
Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Arovya → Cancel Subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You'll continue to have Pro access until then.
The annual subscription includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged the annual price.
Refunds, where available, are handled by Apple under its App Store policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
You don't need to create an account to use Arovya. The app stores your supplements, preferences, and scan history locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
If you delete the app, your data is removed from your device. We have no copy of your supplement list, adherence data, or scan history.
Note that when you use AI label scanning to identify products not in our database, the resulting product information and the front-of-package photo are retained by us in anonymised form to improve product recognition for all users of the app. This data is not linked to your identity. See our Privacy Policy for full details, including how to request deletion if needed.

The Arovya app, its design, code, and content are owned by Anand Basavaraj Muddi and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Product information from Open Food Facts is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL). Other product information may originate from manufacturers' published label data.
You may use the app for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the app or its content.
Arovya is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any product information, ingredient analysis, health score, or supplement insight.
You acknowledge and agree that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses.
Our total liability arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £25, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Arovya uses third-party services to operate, including Apple App Store, Cloudflare, OpenAI, Open Food Facts, Mixpanel, Sentry, and RevenueCat. Your use of the app is also subject to those providers' terms where applicable. See our Privacy Policy for details.
You may stop using Arovya at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate your access to the app or specific features (including Pro) if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behaviour.
Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where prohibited by mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
